How to find us

Detailed below are instructions of how to find Daventry and Northampton town centres and where we are located within them. We have tried to include directions from most of the key roads into the town (M1, A45, A43 and A361). The town centre instructions relate to the printable maps available if you follow the links. On this we have highlighted selected landmarks and the nearest car parks. We hope this enables you to find us with ease, but if you are still unsure then please contact the practice and we will try to furnish you with additional details.

Daventry

From M1 junction 16
Follow signs for A45 to Daventry and Coventry. Follow this road for about 5 miles passing through the village of Flore until you reach Weedon. At the traffic lights (situated at a crossroads with the Globe and Crossroads Hotels on either side) go straight over continuing to follow signs for A45 Daventry.

From A5 South (Milton Keynes)
When you enter the village of Weedon turn left at the traffic lights (situated at a crossroads with the Globe and Crossroads Hotels on either side) and follow signs for A45 Daventry.

From A5 North (Rugby)
When you enter the village of Weedon turn right at the traffic lights (situated at a crossroads with the Globe and Crossroads Hotels on either side) and follow signs for A45 Daventry.

Continue along this road for about 3½ miles until you enter the outskirts of Daventry. At the first roundabout go straight over following signs for town centre. After another ¾ of a mile you will come to a mini roundabout (click to view town centre map) and for the nearest car park turn left and then right at the next roundabout. This will bring you to the car park behind Somerfield supermarket.

From A361 (Banbury)
About 2 miles after you have passed the village of Badby you will approach the outskirts of Daventry. Follow signs for M1 South and the road will bend around to the right. At the first roundabout turn left following signs for town centre. After another ¾ of a mile you will come to a mini roundabout (click to view town centre map) and for the nearest car park turn left and then right at the next roundabout. This will bring you to the car park behind Somerfield supermarket.

From A45 (Rugby)
After passing the village of Braunston you will approach the outskirts of Daventry in another 4 miles. Go straight over the first three roundabouts (this will take you past the Volvo and Maple Leaf garages) until you come to a larger roundabout. Here you need to turn right following signs for town centre. You will then pass over a mini roundabout before reaching the car park behind Somerfield supermarket.

Once parked, if you walk to the front of Somerfield you will see the post office directly opposite and we are situated about 20 metres to the right (walking away from the shops). Our printable map shows the position of two other car parks within the town centre.

Northampton

From M1 junction 16 (A45 Daventry)
Follow signs for A45 Northampton town centre. Go straight over the next three roundabouts (you will pass Sainsbury's, UGC cinema and Halfords). At the third set of traffic lights (just after Beacon Bingo and Saints rugby ground) turn left following signs for town centre. You will then pass straight through another four sets of traffic lights.

From M1 junction 15a (A43 Oxford)
At the first large roundabout after leaving/passing under the M1 turn left, following signs for Sixfields Stadium, town centre and M1 North. Go straight over the next roundabout and then right at the one after (you should see UGC, Sainsbury's and Tempo)
. At the third set of traffic lights (just after Beacon Bingo and Saints rugby ground) turn left following signs for town centre. You will then pass straight through another four sets of traffic lights.

From A508 (Market Harborough)
Follow signs for town centre you will pass through a small shopping district called Kingsthorpe and then on through several sets of traffic lights. After passing the main Royal Mail sorting office on your right you will come to a set of traffic lights where you need to turn left (a Casino will be opposite and to the right).

After you pass the Police station and Crown Court you will come to another set of lights (adjacent to the Chronicle and Echo - click to view town centre map) - here you want to be in the right hand lane but will be turning left. About 50 metres down on the right is the entrance to St. Michael's car park.

From M1 junction 15 (A508 Milton Keynes)
Follow signs for town centre and A45 Wellingborough. After about 2 miles you will pass Barclaycard main offices on your right and you want to leave this main road (signposted town centre and Bedford A428). At the roundabout take the first exit and then turn right at the first set of traffic lights (BMW garage will be opposite).

From A45 (Wellingborough & Cambridge)
Follow signs for M1 South and Milton Keynes. After you have passed the junction for Riverside retail park you will need to leave this main road signposted town centre and Bedford A428. At the roundabout you need to take the third exit (signposted town centre) and then turn right at the first set of traffic lights (BMW garage will be opposite).

Follow this road up past a school and Northampton General Hospital. Go straight over the next set of lights and then left at the following set (this should be a T-junction with an old hospital (St Edmunds) opposite). Follow this road through one set of lights (BBC Radio will be on the left - click to view town centre map) and then at the next set you need to turn right (opposite and to the right you will see the Chronicle and Echo building). About 50 metres down on the right is the entrance to St. Michael's car park.

From A43 (Kettering)
Go straight over at all roundabouts following signs for A45, M1 South and town centre. You will reach a junction labelled town centre and Weston Favell Centre, you need to leave this road. This will bring you past the Weston Favell Centre and McDonalds on your left. At the first set of lights turn right following signs for town centre. After 2 miles you will pass through a series of lights and you need to veer left, still following signs for town centre.

Follow this road for another 2 miles past approximately seven sets of lights, when you have passed a set of lights with BBC Radio on the left (click to view town centre map) you need to turn right at the next set (opposite and to the right you will see the Chronicle and Echo building). About 50 metres down on the right is the entrance to St. Michael's car park.

Once parked, if you leave the car park via the stair well and turn left (away from the town centre) our practice is situated on the left hand side about 20 metres along (just after Molly's Bar and before Phoenix Comics). Our printable map shows the position of several other landmarks within the town centre.
