Low Vision Aids
As well as providing corrective
spectacles we also offer a range of magnifiers to help those with poorer
vision, when spectacles simply aren't enough.
Starting
with a selection of low powered magnifiers. Most are hand held, but
some can be hung around the neck allowing both hands free movement.
They are all ideal for people who only need a small amount of magnification
to either improve general reading ability, or allow smaller print to
be read.
We also stock a range of higher powered, self illuminating magnifiers.
These become more useful as one's vision worsens. The internal illumination
can be powered by either a battery or mains operated handle.
Spectacle mounted magnifiers can be useful if you need to use both hands
to hold the near vision task. They are available in a number of different
magnifications.
